grounded at both ends to equipment enclosure or electric cabinet. A
360-degree metal clamp slip around the outer stainless braiding and
the clamp is directly in contact with the shield when the connector
back shell with a cone shape interior is tightened. The heavy series
connector clamps tightly around the braiding and grounds the
shielding, which helps to protect the cables against EMI noise.
